Thanks to her work for NASA, Aisha already has an array of achievements relating to space exploration. However, in 2023, she is set to become an astronaut herself—and will be part of the first-ever spaceflight crew composed entirely of African-American women. The Blue Origin flight also will make her the first Bahamian in space.Aisha—whose journey to the stars began with a pre-algebra class in community college—has shared her inspiring story in interviews and presentations around the world as part of the State Department’s U.S. Speaker Program. A member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), Aisha has earned numerous awards for her dedication to technical excellence and the principles of diversity and opportunity. She holds a B.S.E in Aerospace Engineering and an M. Eng. in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan, and sits on the university’s Aerospace Department Industry Advisory Board.
Clare Boyle is the Director of Operations at STEMBoard, where she manages all operational activities of the firm and collaborates with the leadership team to establish strategic goals. She oversees day-to-day business operations, ensuring compliance, productivity and client/employee satisfaction. As a seasoned Program Manager within the IC, Clare is highly experienced running large program portfolios and leveraging technology to improve overall program efficiency.
Prior to STEMBoard, Clare has managed Federal programs in large and small defense firms within the Pentagon, US Navy, and US Coast Guard. Clare has also served as a Civilian at US Coast Guard HQ, where she advised Major and Non-Major Program Managers on DoD, DHS, and USCG Acquisition Policy, and supported the integration of Program Protection policies and best practices into Coast Guard and DHS policy. During her time with USCG, she also served as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), overseeing a large services contract.
Clare holds a Master of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Mary Washington. She has also completed advanced coursework in Shipbuilding Operations and Technology for Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Program Protection Planning from USAF.
Taylor Lucero began her journey with STEMBoard as a virtual executive assistant through an external agency. However, her exceptional management skills soon caught the attention of the company's leadership, resulting in her appointment as STEMBoard's Chief of Staff. As the Chief of Staff, Taylor collaborates closely with the CEO and COO, aiding in their daily tasks, managing their extensive schedules and public engagements, fostering significant relationships with company partners, coordinating all travel arrangements for the company, assisting in Business Development, staffing, and recruitment, and overseeing the company's and CEO's social media presence.
Her impressive background in network systems administration, management, entrepreneurship, and working with government agencies such as the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) have made her a versatile asset to STEMBoard. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Lake Superior State University, and her remarkable academic and professional achievements signify her drive and determination to excel in her field. Heather Bourgeois serves as the Facilities Security Officer (FSO) for STEMBoard, overseeing all security-related operations and ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). As the central point of contact, she manages the Security Program and clearance for all personnel while maintaining the National Industrial Security System (NISS) and Defense Information Security System (DISS) accounts.
Throughout her career, Heather has acted as a principal advisor for various security programs, including Personnel, Industrial, Information, Physical, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Programs (SAP). Her nearly decade-long experience in the industry, including her work with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), has equipped her with a wealth of security expertise that she brings to all of STEMBoard's contracts and operations.
Heather's critical attention to detail and strong interpersonal communication skills make her an invaluable asset to STEMBoard. She has played a crucial role in overseeing Security Management for significant contract awards, such as DTRA NE-NL, USSOCOM CDO, NGA Mojave, and NGA Emerald. Additionally, she has assisted in ensuring compliance with CMMC Level III/NIST 800-171a, ISO certification, and CMMI appraisal at Maturity Level 3. During STEMBoard's participation in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP), Heather worked closely with the WiSC (Mentor) security department for NGA contract awards.
Heather holds several certifications, including FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities and Non-Possessing Facilities, SSOC Course, FSOC Course, and Developing and Implementing an Insider Threat Course. These certifications are from esteemed institutions such as the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), National Security Training Institute (NSTI), and STEPP.
Scott Sebens is the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Program Manager for STEMBoard, where he oversees the programmatic execution of multiple software development projects in support of the agency's Collection Management, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), and HUMINT missions. With almost 30 years of experience in Intelligence Mission Applications (IMA), Scott is a respected program manager in the industry who brings niche value to every contract. He is an ISR subject matter expert who began his career as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst for the United States Army. His extensive knowledge of these intelligence processes and systems enables him to manage and bridge the gap between development teams and functional managers, ensuring the delivery of functional requirements and compliance for every system built and integrated. His exemplary leadership, management skills, and adaptability enables him to bring teams together quickly and efficiently. He has a proven track record for managing software development programs, implementing robust business processes, and training programs.
